CLIENT
The Science Center, TSC, offers a unique educational and entertainment experience in Southern Illinois. Featuring hands-on exhibits and room to experiment, TSC also hosts summer camps, birthday parties and presentations by scientists.
OPPORTUNITY
TSC needed to improve communication across the board – with visitors, donors, board members and the media - to address challenges of low awareness, limited funding, lack of press coverage and board involvement. We strapped on our safety goggles, pulled on our rubber gloves, and went to work.
OBJECTIVE
Develop a comprehensive communications plan that included recommendations for:
- Brand image
- Membership program
- Board involvement
- Fundraising
- Media presence
- Corporate sponsorship
- Website redesign
- Opinion leader support
- Email newsletter
RESULTS
After presenting our plan to TSC board members, we were asked to continue our partnership with TSC. In the upcoming year, we will be implementing the strategic plan. Below is the new logo, recommended design for a new brochure and email newsletter.
